In Daruthenga village, Trilochan Beura dedicates his life to uplifting visually-impaired youths through sports. As a coach for state cricket, football, and chess teams tailored for the visually impaired, he has become a beacon of hope and inspiration. His commitment stems from personal experience; having witnessed the societal neglect faced by his handicapped brother, Trilochan’s drive to make a difference is deeply personal.

Traveling from home to home, he provides education and training to over 100 visually impaired children, emphasizing empowerment and inclusion. His efforts reinforce the necessity of patience and understanding toward individuals with disabilities, making him an invaluable asset to his community.

After losing her father, D Prakash Rao, a devoted social worker during the COVID-19 pandemic, Bhanupriya resolved to continue his mission of providing free education at their school, Asha O Ashwasana.

Starting in a humble two-room thatched house with just four students, her father’s vision blossomed into providing education to over 70 children from underprivileged backgrounds. By continuing this mission, Bhanupriya not only preserves her father’s memory but also significantly impacts the lives of countless children, ensuring they receive quality education that many would otherwise lack.
