Exploring the Bi-Monthly Celebration of Black Culture

Founded in 2021 in Los Angeles, Black Market Flea is a “community staple” that was born during a time when connection and collective support were deeply needed. What began as a vision has grown into a dynamic platform dedicated to celebrating Black entrepreneurship, culture, and creative expression.

The first official Black Market Flea event of 2026 is on Saturday, February 28 with doors opening at 11 AM. More than just a marketplace, Black Market Flea is a community-centered experience that places equity and empowerment at the core of its mission.

The Black Market Flea Experience

Hosted at The Beehive, the Flea brings together over 150 Black-owned businesses in a vibrant, all-ages environment. On Saturday, February 28th, attendees are invited to come through and connect with 150+ Black-owned brands curated especially F.U.B.U.—for us, by us.

From one-of-one vintage finds and thoughtfully prepared food, to braid bars and exceptional original artwork, Black Market Flea continues to be a destination for pouring into the culture with intention and impact.

Attendees can explore a wide range of offerings, including:

  • Vintage and contemporary fashion
  • Handmade jewelry and accessories
  • Apothecary and wellness products
  • Art and home goods
  • Food and beverages
  • Specialty and lifestyle brands

Each vendor participates with a distinct point of view, contributing to an atmosphere that celebrates individuality, creativity, and innovation. The event is thoughtfully curated to foster meaningful connections between creators and the community.

And the experience does not stop at shopping! After supporting the vendors, guests can gather at the Flea Stage for a special live performance by Foggieraw, offering an exclusive live preview of his new album With No Due Respect, released the day before the event. Throughout the day, a dynamic DJ lineup will provide a continuous soundtrack, ensuring the energy remains high from doors open to close. Plus, hip-hop star Vic Mensa will be giving away free merch at the event and meeting fans.
